In a small, vibrant city known for its rich cultural tapestry, the women in our family embarks on a new journey to create a traditional women’s brand that embodies their dreams & values. अंगना, is a homage to natural beauty that consists of timeless designs which can last in a woman's closet forever.
As a kid, my माँ / mother has always been my icon and I used to wear her sarees when I was just a 10-year old girl and participate in my annual functions. My dance teachers called me 'our little सुंदरी '. I remember, my mom always used to tell me how creative she has been since her childhood. Whether it is painting on fabrics, कढ़ाई or बुनाई (knitting/weaving) of sarees or simply stitching her own suits in one night. She knew it all but could never make it into a profession due to financial instability at her home. Growing up made me realise that my mother's qualities were imbedded in me and that slowly gave me the prowess to turn her 'ख़्वाब ' into existence. अंगना is for her.
Therefore, through our hand-painted, hand-embellished or rich textile designs, we encourage every woman to embrace our heritage, honour our journey and wear our dreams with pride.
